but let me add something about this …

Enjoy this video-summary of the “on the way home from World Youth Day interview” that Pope Francis gave to reporters on the plane. What do you think about the content and the style of the interview? and about “what” Pope Francis says and “how” he says it?

Thank God for giving us a Pope who can see beyond words and into human hearts.

The most endearing part to me was when Pope Francis spoke about Pope Benedict XVI. The press is trying so very hard or maybe I should say the devil is trying to make it sound like they are so opposite…when in reality, they have sooooooooooo much, so much more in common! I love that Pope Francis goes to Benedict like a child to his father! WOW! What a true blessing for Pope Francis to have a pope to go to!!

I also love what Pope Francis said about Mary…it is so true! Yet, it was Peter that Jesus said, “You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church” (Matt. 16:18). That didn’t bother Mary. She knew her role in Church. And just as Mary’s role in the Church and in Jesus’ life she was so very important, we as women have very important roles in the Church as well. Most especially building the Church by our “Yes” to having children. And just like Mary, we need to do so with humility and obedience. How God loves a humble and obedient soul!

Yes, this was all so beautifully stated by Pope Francis. Our God continues to be so good to His Church by providing us with the kind of pope that is exactly what our Church and world need at the time! All glory and praise to God!

PS: I do love his sense of humor….reminds me of JPII, how funny was he!!
